The '''{{PAGENAME}}''' is the first non-melee weapon found in the game. It deals a moderate amount of damage and only effective against [[Human Enemies|humans]], as [[Artificial Life|androids]] can withstand several shots to the head before becoming injured.

Revolvers when aiming increases its accuracy, but Ripley cannot sprint while aiming. The revolver has quite a lengthy reload. The revolver can also be used to kill Facehuggers, if the player can aim well. Roughly ninety rounds can be found throughout the game on medium difficulty. The revolver is not effective against industrial Working Joes, but can still kill them on lower difficulties, and against the Alien, it has no effect.

Human survivors are commonly equipped with the revolver and are quite accurate with their aim. Human survivors that have been killed are likely to have ammo if you search their bodies, but their firearm itself cannot be picked up.
