Summary[]

Noticing signs that someone has beat them there, they continue looking around for valuables and signs of life. Heyst and Catherine Foster go down a hole in the ship and find what appears to be a large nest with countless eggs lying around. But when the contents of one of the eggs attacks Foster, the leave for Sevastopol.
Heyst has doubts about their ability to get past quarantine procedures. But they're able to bribe Marshal Waits with the Nostromo's flight recorder.
